mobileFOUNDATIONS, Inc. (mFI) products dramatically increase the productivity of organizations by freeing workers from routine and labor-intensive monitoring and communications tasks so that they can perform higher-value, more profitable work. Our products seamlessly combine wireless communications, collaboration tools, process automation and workflow, and knowledge management functions under a single easy-to-use Web portal interface.
mFI's products improve an organization's efficiency and effectiveness by serving as event-based automated "intelligent" information brokers, delivering the right data to the right people at the right time, anywhere on any device.
The Fast Access Situational Awareness Toolkit (FASAT) is an integrated suite of tools that allows organizations to monitor, track, and communicate information that directly affects operations in near real-time. FASAT's software development combines state-of-the-art advanced automation, situational awareness tools, collaboration tools, and wireless technologies into a seamless environment that enables distributed operations to occur in a manner that maintains users' situational awareness. Many of the FASAT technologies have been commercialized into a product called "IncidentPortal." The FASAT technologies used in the "IncidentPortal" have been focused to become an integral part of the Pentagon's Security System. The Pentagon will deploy IncidentPortal in FY04 for CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) defense for that facility. At the Pentagon, IncidentPortal will autonomously monitor the ring of chem/bio sensors surrounding the Pentagon, as well as its "smart buildings" system. Upon detection of "triggers" from sensors, IncidentPortal will log the incident and perform all of the associated alerting and wireless communications.
In addition to its original application for AF Space Operations, FASAT technologies now provide a suite of tools to enable distributed wireless team activities across a broad range of venues and organizations. The goal of the FASAT is to deliver the right data to the right people at the right time, anywhere, on any device. Hence, the primary impact to the Air Force is FASAT technologies permit distributed team members to make decisions faster, smarter, and more efficiently. For Homeland Security the system will provide a significant impact in terms of saving lives, time, and money.
