Privacy and Security Policy

The DoD SBIR/STTR Resource Center is provided as a public service by the Department of Defense Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization. Unless restricted through password accounts, the information presented on this website is considered public information and may be distributed or copied. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is requested.

As a condition of your use of the Resource Center, you will not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited or could damage or interfere any DoD SBIR server or with any other party's use and enjoyment of the website.

This website is for authorized, unclassified use only. Do not discuss, enter, transfer, process, or transmit classified/sensitive national security information.

We want all viewers to be able to access the information provided by the Resource Center. We have and continue to strive to be sure all sections of are in compliance with Section 508 standards.


For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this computer employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Anyone visiting this website expressly consents to such monitoring and is advised that if such monitoring reveals evidence of possible abuse or criminal activity, such evidence may be provided to appropriate law enforcement officials.

Unauthorized attempts to upload or change information on this server are strictly prohibited and may be punishable by law, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996.

Some areas of this site are limited to authorized users with passwords. For example, to submit a SBIR or STTR proposal to the DoD through the Electronic Proposal Submission system, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the registration form and choose a password. If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password or to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
